Ernest Roscoe Dickerson ist ein US-amerikanischer Regisseur, Kameramann und Drehbuchautor für Film, Fernsehen und Musikvideos.
Als Kameramann ist Dickerson für seine häufige Zusammenarbeit mit Spike Lee bekannt, seit sie Klassenkameraden an der Tisch School of the Arts waren und gemeinsam an Lees Masterarbeit im Jahr 1983, Joe's Bed-Stuy Barbershop: We Cut Heads, arbeiteten, die schließlich mit einem Studenten-Oscar ausgezeichnet wurde. Anschließend drehte Dickerson die von Lee inszenierten Filme She's Gotta Have It (1986), School Daze (1988), Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo' Better Blues (1990), Jungle Fever (1991) und Malcolm X (1992).
Als Regisseur ist Dickerson für Krimi- und Horrorfilme wie „Juice“ (1992), „Demon Knight“ (1995), „Bulletproof“ (1996), „Bones“ (2001) und „Never Die Alone“ (2004) bekannt. Er führte außerdem bei mehreren Episoden gefeierter Fernsehserien Regie, darunter „Once Upon a Time“, „The Wire“, „Dexter“, „The Walking Dead“ und „Godfather of Harlem“.
