Michael Caton-Jones, geboren am 15. Oktober 1957 in Broxburn, West Lothian, ist ein britischer Regisseur und Produzent. Er besuchte das Wellington College und arbeitete zunächst an „Skippy, das Buschkänguruh“, bevor er mit „Der Schakal“ und „Doc Hollywood“ internationale Aufmerksamkeit erhielt. Für seine Arbeit wurde er für den Young European Film of the Year nominiert.
