Sylvia Miles war eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin, geboren am 9. September 1932 in New York City. Sie besuchte die Washington Irving High School und das Actors Studio. Für ihre Rollen in „Midnight Cowboy“ und „Leb wohl, mein Liebling“ wurde sie zweimal für den Oscar als Beste Nebendarstellerin nominiert. Miles starb am 12. Juni 2019 in Manhattan.
