Sam Pollard ist ein US-amerikanischer Filmregisseur, Filmeditor, Filmproduzent und Drehbuchautor. Er wurde am 20. April 1945 in Harlem, New York, geboren. Als Filmeditor arbeitete er unter anderem an Filmen von Spike Lee. Zu seinen bekannten Arbeiten gehören „Subject“ und „Style Wars In The Cutting Room“. Für den Oscar für den besten Dokumentarfilm wurde er nominiert.
